Why this tool exists
A photo can contain millions of colors, but a fuse-bead project needs a finite palette, a readable grid, and a plan for real pegboards. FuseBeads performs that translation and keeps the result practical: MARD 221 codes, bead totals, labeled board sections, printable guides, and an optional digital building experience.
Local-first by design
Image conversion happens in your browser. FuseBeads does not require an account and does not send your uploaded photos to an image-processing service. Project state can be stored locally in the same browser so the editor and digital board can continue the workflow.
Built around the physical project
The interface is not only a pixel-art preview. Pattern sizes map to 29 x 29 board units, color cells can display their MARD codes, and exports include material quantities. The guides explain the practical choices that software cannot make for you, including board compatibility, cooling, and safe iron handling.
